So, is this a bug? Has it happened to others? Is it my error? What's the deal? What's -H 0?

a possible solution which has helped sometimes is to remove the option -H 10 or even to replace it by -H 0. But don't use the whole command chain. Cd manually into the tmp directory and issue only the transcode command.
